Assignment Description: In this section you will academically describe what type of genre you chose to capture? Why? What do you like most about it? Have you captured this type of genre before? How does it compare to the other type of genre you have captured in the past? If you take a look at past images you have captured, is there a pattern in the type of genre they fall under? Nature, landscape, documentary, portrait, etc. ?

Bad Composition Good Composition
Assignment Description: In this section you will academically describe why these images portray good and bad composition.
Good Composition Image: What type of composition is applied in this image? Balance, Lines, R.O.T. etc..Why does it have good composition? What does the image portray? What type of genre is it? Nature, Architecture, Portrait etc...
Is there anything else others may not see, that you see?
Bad Composition Image: Tell me why the image has BAD COMPOSITION? Why? What type of composition could have this image been part of? Better balance? Cropped to apply the rule of thirds? Zoomed out in order to show more of its surroundings? Think about how could it been better?

1. When uploading each image, under the description section, please write why you feel this image applies to its specific Element of Art: Example: This is an image that portrays Texture because you can clearly see the leaf texture and breaking patterns.

09/04/2017 - Me My Color and I
This example includes all assignment expectations, it states what color, it has a transition that explains how the color connects to my life. In the end, it states the color significance in my life.
This example has a color pop, it doesn't use the quick selection tool but describes the connection from the color to herself in an artistic manner. Therefore, although the image was edited using Hue and Text tool only, the color illustration in connection to student follows expectations.
This example includes all aesthetic expectations such as using quick selection tool, hue and text tool but insufficient color illustration towards personality and or life style. It should make connections to why and how.

1. This paragraph should include a small description of what your assignment consisted of, what concepts were required to understand? How did you know you were ready for this assignment? For example, in order to create this image, digital editing software knowledge must be involved, using the quick selection tool to crop out an image and implemented into another, using the hue adjustment, applying the text tool, incorporate English and Art Subject Skills to create this assignment with quality and academic knowledge.
2.Describe your edited in the picture, features you used to manipulate the image. Using your daily academic vocabulary, give details and explain what you feel this picture conveys compared to the "before" image.

1. This paragraph should include a small description of what your assignment consisted of, what concepts were required to understand? How did you know you were ready for this assignment? For example, in order to capture these images frames you went through an interactive power point to learn and acquire proper concepts, practiced frames, practiced capturing frames and also analyzed frames from a film and articulated each.

1. This paragraph should include a small description of what your assignment consisted of, what concepts were required to understand? How did you review for this assignment? Did you practice?
RESPONSE EXAMPLE: For this assignment we learned about camera angles, how they are used in film and in photography. We also learned what each angles is called and where it is placed from the subject/object. In order to correctly complete this assignment we needed to understand the relationship between an angle, camera position and the object itself, we reviewed and practiced with Mrs. Camacho to ensure we knew with accuracy each angle and its term by identifying each angle to its term.
2. Apply the correct TERM to each Angle.

Why do you think so? For example, explain what effects each angle portrays for the viewer.
